BONJOUR!

I can’t wait to know each other.
I’ll start by sharing these fun facts about me.

Un, deux, trois.

I’m one of 3 sisters. Each of us born in Mainz (Germany), Paris (France), and New York (USA).

Cast Away.

The 2020 pandemic had me stranded on a tropical island in the French West Indies, for four months.

80’s kid.

I once unfollowed a friend on Facebook for talking smack about Michael Jackson.

Corporate Dropout.

I left a fast-paced, successful career at a Mortgage firm where I learned to keep my cool when nothing goes according to plan.

Water Lilies, 1897.

The Collège I attended in Normandie was walking distance from Claude Monet’s garden.

Snail mail nerd.

I buy so many stamps every year, the USPS flagged me as a philatelist.

I was called a shy girl.

Observed a lot and said very little. Being an introvert and not joining in all the chatter and high commotion used to bother me; but what I now know is I was training my eyes and shaping my heart to notice, feel moments of human connection. Subtle gestures, inner beauty, quiet emotion, wonder, intent.. became my language and my secret world.

Today, I still watch and I listen with intention, but I’m not as quiet. I join in by sharing stories about those remarkably simple moments through my work.

Hi, my name is Galaxie, a recovered 'shy girl' who will pour her heart and these big curious eyes into making art inspired by who you are + who you love. Finding beauty in your expressions and movement is a natural power I’ve been cultivating my whole life.

I am…

  • who secretly watched the connection and negative space between humans on the Canal St Martin bridge in Paris.

  • who’d rather skip the monuments and get lost in dusty souks or hole-in-the-wall cafés, listening to locals tell stories about their life.

  • ranging from a nonprofit built on inclusion, diversity and the American Dream + a photography business built on connection, mindfulness and authenticity.

  • turned Kundalini yogi & master gardener, who can fill a world map with push pins and burns sage when life gets hectic.

  • who could spot the most subtle smudge from a mile away, and crossed oceans to compete in marathons from New York to Paris in the 80’s and 90’s.

  • who gave me 3 beautiful niece & nephews, grows a collection of yet-undisclosed watercolors, and coordinates the best free tours of her French countryside.

  • who can make a grandpa sweater look cool, rescues alley cats on weekends, and gives you inevitable goose bumps when she sings or plays the piano.

  • who still doesn’t know what hashtags are, teaches random hikers about million-year-old fossils, and can pull everyone away from the dinner table to show them a rare star alignment.
